Burrito and Taco

What is the difference between burrito and taco? Basically nothing, both are wrapped in tortillas. But the difference seems to be the filling and size. I found this page very interesting: Difference Between Taco and Burrito, seen on 2019/05/20.

The followed informations are all from the page about.

Tacos are made with warm corn tortillas and also wrapped around a single filling.

Borritos on the other hand are made from a wheat tortilla. And they are filled with many different ingredients like rice, beans and cheese or rice, meat and vegetables.

Borritos have a larger size then tacos.

“Unlike in the case of tacos, corn tortillas are very rarely used in the case of burrito because they tend to crack and split due to the large size required for making one. Burrito would rather be made with flavored tortillas like spinach and tomato ones.”
